- AI Tax Assistant (chat): The questions you type into the chat assistant are sent to our servers and to Anthropic, whose Claude model generates the replies. Please do not type your PAN, Aadhaar, bank details or other sensitive identifiers into the chat.
2.2 Your Documents and Calculator Inputs
- Documents: Files you open in the Income Tax Analyser are not uploaded, stored or sent to anyone. They stay on your device, so we cannot see them and there is nothing for us to retain or delete.
- Calculators: Most Daily Tools calculators run in your browser, and the numbers you type into them are not sent to us. The exceptions are the GSTIN lookup (the GSTIN you enter is sent to our server to answer your request), the chat assistant (above) and the "Suggest a tool" form (the message you submit).
- No sale or sharing: We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your documents with anyone.
2.3 Information Automatically Collected
- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, device information, collected through Google Analytics.
- Cookies: We use Firebase authentication cookies and session tokens for user identification, and Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used.
- Chat History: Your conversations with the AI tax assistant are stored to improve your experience and our service.
